Limited edition, quarto, copy number 54 of 100 signed by illustrator Albert Rutherston and Harley Granville-Barker, author of the introduction; with title printed in red and black; illustrated with five color plates and numerous text illustrations; bound in contemporary dark brown oasis morocco stamped in gilt and blind by Zaehnsdorf, gilt and blind strapwork to each board, spine tooled and lettered in gilt, teg, fore-edges left untrimmed; some faint spots to preliminaries and title, a few edges browned; extremities rubbed with some chipping mostly to spine caps, lower joint starting; 12 3/4 x 9 ¼ in.
